What is it?
Health Information Week is an annual campaign in the first full week of July that aims to raise awareness of health information resources available to all. The Library and Knowledge Service will be taking part in this campaign throughout the week of 3rd – 9th July, signposting patients and the public, as well as NHS employees, to trusted health information sources. Why is it useful? It is essential that quality information is provided to people to enable them to better manage their health and wellbeing and make fully informed decisions about their treatment and care.
