Library resources

The Library has a wide range of textbooks covering all clinical specialties. We also have books on non-clinical subjects such as leadership, doing research, IT and much more. All East Cheshire NHS Trust staff are able to join the library and borrow books. If you are unsure where to start please speak to a member of library staff and we will be happy to help you.​

UpToDate

UpToDate is an evidence-based decision support tool which is available to all Trust staff. It includes over 11,000 clinical topics, drug information, practice-changing updates and much more. Create your free personal login (on a trust PC) and collect CME/CPD points each time you use it. Access is also available with your NHS Athens account (but no CME/CPD points).

Keep up-to-date
KnowledgeShare is our targeted current awareness service. Alerts are emailed out every fortnight. Your KnowledgeShare profile can be created to be as broad or specific as you need, and can be updated if your interests change.   It can include non-clinical topics such as leadership, management, coaching, and research, as well as clinical conditions.

This resource has been developed by East Cheshire NHS Trust to address the language and communication needs of international health and care staff and their colleagues working in the UK.
